Atlanta, GA - Mississippi Dynasty have completed their task for the 2018 season. The Dynasty started the season highly favored to repeat as National APDFL President's Cup Champions and they have done just that. They came into the Championship game with a regular season record of 9-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of a tough Crescent City Kings team. Unfortunately, the Kings came up short in their playoff game defusing any hopes of the Dynasty making amends on their regular season loss.
The Dynasty faced off against the Prattville Patriots in their second trip to the National Presidents Cup in what was sure to be one of the most competitive games of the season. After having defeated the Patriots convincingly during the regular season, the Patriots quickly proved to be much improved from their earlier outing.
Late in the 3rd quarter, the Dynasty found themselves down when a lengthy delay came about for an unspecified reason. The game delay could have been the turning point in the game as they utilized this time to regroup and took control of the 4th quarter. A late touchdown run late in the 4th put the Dynasty up with just seconds remaining on the clock. The Patriots had one last attempt for the come from behind win however, an interception in the back of the end zone secured the Back-2-Back victory for the Dynasty.
