Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League

The new team into the APDFL Louisiana Tigers hosted The Louisiana Lighting in a Preseason match up down in New Orleans, Louisiana this past weekend       (January 27). With highly expectations from Head Coach Tim Vessel of the Louisiana Tigers, was never in doubt about the highly powered offense that Head Coach Mike Anderson & the Louisiana Lighting had to offer in this much anticipated preseason match up. But after the 1st quarter of play with a very stiff Tigers defense we had a score of 0-0, late into the 2nd quarter the lighting defense had pinned the tigers back deep at their own 2 yard line & a very strong defensive pressure blitz came from the lighting defense, with QB Earl Butler throwing an Int Grounding causing a Safety to give the lighting a lead of 2-0 1:36 in the 2nd quarter. 3rd quarter was a very tough one with the tiger defense getting a total of two INT'S but yet both teams offense still struggles to find the End Zone, 4th quarter both defenses buckle down hard on the offenses & no offenses found the end zones, as time ran short 1:45 left in the 4th quarter Head Coach Tim made an "QB" adjustment as putting "BACKUP" QB Aaron Nino into the game as the vicious lighting defense ate thunder and struck lighting bringing Nino down for a Sack & loss of 8 yards for another lighting safety, with the lighting kneeling the ball & taking the win with the final score of 4-0 over the Tigers, Coach Tim & The Tigers looks to prepare for a very good Generals Team in opening weekend down in Mobile ,Al. This year should be a great one as the Tigers has always proven to have a legitimate defense to bring to a very talented league as the APDFL.
