Defuniak Springs, FL – This weekend APDFL will be feeding the hungry across the league as we honor our “Feed The Hungry” appreciation weekend. We encourage our fans to donate can goods to your local team as we assist in stocking the shelves at our local food pantries.

Let’s take a look at this weekends predictions.

(18) Knoxville Outlaws (0-2) @ (9) Atlanta Tigers (2-0),
Live: https://score-sports.com/football-23/
Atlanta, GA
6:00PM (est)
Outlaws will be looking to make the trip to Atlanta and pull off a huge upset. To make it happen however, they will need to play their best to date. Tigers continue to get better on a weekly basis. With every passing day, they seem to gel together a little bit more and are looking to be a force in the Eastern Conference. If they play their game, this one could possibly get out of hand.
Atlanta Tigers – 42
Knoxville Outlaws – 12

(2) Georgia Thrashers (1-0) @ (19) Winchester Ducks (0-2),
Live: https://score-sports.com/football-23/
Winchester, TN
7:00PM (est)
Ducks will look to utilize their first home game of the season to prove that they belong. A slow start on the season may have put them behind the eight ball however, playing at home is always an added benefit. Question is how will the Thrashers travel. With the nucleus of their team together, they should be able walk away with another dominating victory. Then again, how will they travel!
Georgia Thrashers – 27
Winchester Ducks – 12

(17) Alabama War Dawgs (0-1) @ (3) Columbus Storm (2-0),
Phenix City, AL
5:00PM (cst)
Coming off of a lopsided defeat, the War Dawgs will be looking to find some footing. This weekend won’t be any easier than the last. To pull off the upset, the War Dawgs will need to find their true identity. Something they weren’t able to do in their season opener. A pass heavy attack, against what could be the leagues top secondary, would lead to another plethora of turnovers. Ranked No. 3, the Storm could possibly be ranked lower than they should be. Without even having stepped on the field. If the roster is an indication of what’s to come, you can expect a “Thunder STORM” over Phenix City this weekend.
Columbus Storm – 52
Alabama War Dawgs – 6

(13) Mobile Miners (1-1) @ (5) Mississippi Dynasty (1-1),
Pearl, MS
4:30PM (cst)
Dynasty came up short in an overtime defeat a week ago and will be looking to get back on track this weekend. Miners looked good during the preseason as they took to the road and defeated several out of league opponents but were unable to play with that same energy in their season opener. The trip to Pearl against one of the leagues best, won’t prove to be easy.
Mississippi Dynasty – 48
Mob City Miners – 0

(15) Crescent City Rampage (0-1) @ (1) Crescent City Kings (3-0),
New Orleans, LA
7:00PM (cst)
Kings have been very impressive to start the season. This weekend they will get to put their talents on display on their home turf. Facing off against the Rampage, also on their home turf, will eliminate the home field advantage for either team. Over the course of time, Kings have seemed to dominate in this head-to-head match up. This weekend shouldn’t be any different.
Crescent City Kings – 36
Crescent City Rampage – 24

(11) Clarksville Chiefs (1-0) @ (7) Arkansas Punishers (1-1),
Heber Springs, AR
6:00PM (cst)
Chiefs will take to the field for the first time this season and will do so on the road. With two early season scheduling issues, the question continues to be, can they live up to the hype. Highly sought after during the off-season, they finally get their chance to prove that they are. It won’t be easy! Punishers at home, tend to play with a level of confidence that others find to be challenging. This weekend shouldn’t be any different.
Arkansas Punishers – 24
Clarksville Chiefs – 14

GAME OF THE WEEK!!
(8) Bayou Lacombe Cardinals (1-1) @ (6) Walton County Chiefs (2-0),
Live: https://score-sports.com/football-23/
Defuniak Springs, FL
7:00PM (cst)
This top 10 match up expects to be a dandy! Walton County has come into the season playing with a chip on their shoulder. Much improved from a season ago, they are showing that they do have what it takes to compete with some of the best in the league. Cardinals will be looking to grab another win this weekend. As one of the top seeded teams in the Western Conference, a slow start surely won’t be indicative of how they precede. This one is sure to be a test for Walton County. Playing at home however, always comes with a slight advantage.
Walton County Chiefs – 17
Bayou Lacombe Cardinals – 14

There you have it! This weekends predictions are in and the only thing left to do is to play the games. Like I always say, don’t hate the predictions, simply PROVE THEM WRONG!!
