Jacksonville, FL – Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) takes pride in supporting and bringing attention and awareness to various causes over the course of the season. In 2021 attention was brought to causes such as; child abuse, autism, suicide prevention, and many more. APDFL strongly encourages its’ league members to not only participate in bringing awareness, but to also find ways in which they can give back to their local and surrounding communities.

The Mike Milligan Award is named after Coach Mike Milligan of the late Emerald Coast Scorpions and most recently Gulf Coast Gators, and is presented to the Humanitarian organization of the year. Over the course of the 2021 season, this organization has consistently provided support to the local and surrounding communities. From feeding the hungry to providing back to school items for the youth, this organization has set the standard in community support across the league.
