APDFL History

AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League was developed in 2011 as an attempt to not only assist athletes in getting into college, but also with the hopes of providing young men across the Southeast with an additional avenue of simply bettering their lives in a constructive fashion. Initially, the league was set to be known as the Amateur Pro Football League. After conversing with two league partners as well as the NCAA Clearing house, we changed the name in 2012 to what has become a household name across the country, Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL). Below is an overview of the brief history of the APDFL.
