Tri-City Savage Ranked #18 Hattiesburg, MS – Tri-City Savage come into the 2019 season ranked #18. Having utilized the off-season to rebuild and add additional athletes to their roster, they will seek to leave their previous organization as the Sting in the past and begin to become a force as the Savage. They will do so with stand-out players across the roster. The Savage will look to all-purpose athlete Joe Robinson and WR James Crosby to reignite an offensive attack that is expected to put up points on a weekly basis. Team owner, Ervin Wolfe Jr. stated: “We are expecting a solid season in 2019 and expect to make a run deep into the playoffs.” The Savage will get their chance to display their talent in week 1 as they face their rivalry, South Mississippi Raiders. “The Raiders are a key matchup for us because it’s the first game of the season and a lot of the players know each other and have played together before. We are really looking forward to that one.” Savage will have to ensure they are playing at full steam if they are to make it deep into the postseason. “The back end of our schedule will be tough as we head on the road to the #1 and #2 teams to close the season,” said Wolfe Jr. Tough it will be however, the Savage could possibly be the surprise team that can make this happen.
