Atlanta, GA – The Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) is proud to announce their collaboration with American Football Events (AFE) and Team USA to host the inaugural Cajun Bowl between the APDFL Blazers and Team USA. This exhibition game will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Stadium at Joe Brown Park in New Orleans, LA.

Team USA will arrive in New Orleans on Wednesday, July 19th and hold their practices at Joe Brown Park. The APDFL Blazers will arrive in New Orleans on Thursday, July 20th and will also hold practices at Joe Brown Park. In between practices, the two teams will be touring local attractions and participating in community support events. Ticket information for this event will be available shortly.

The APDFL Blazers were founded in 2013 as a non-profit organization to assist All-Star players, coaches and staff across the APDFL a more intense opportunity to display their talents. In their first outing, the Blazers played host to the 8-time X League Champions and 7-time National Champions, the OBIC Seagulls from Narashino, Japan in Tuscaloosa Alabama in the Sister Cities International Bowl. The Blazers came from 10 points down to win the game 16-12.

Team USA was founded in 2012 as a non-profit organization providing players, coaches, and staff of high school, collegiate, and Minor League football the opportunity to advance their exposure. Team USA Coach, Dale Glossenger, has a long standing history and a superior reputation in the Professional Developmental sector. With wins in the Myrtle Beach Bowl, played in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the Yucatan Bowl, played in Cancun Mexico, Team USA has provided their players with an extraordinary opportunity. Team USA is made up of All-Star players from across the Country with college level and above experience.

The APDFL and AFE, are coming together to provide members the opportunity to advance in their chosen specialty. We do so through a vision to promote person-to-person relationships and to strengthen communications and communities.
