Jacksonville, FL – With the 2022 season upon us, Crescent City Kings find themselves right where they completed their campaign in 2021. At the top! Over the course of the ‘21 regular season, Crescent City spent a total of zero weeks atop the leader board. Proving that perseverance and playing within the system is much more consistent than relying on league rankings. After starting the season below .500, they fought their way into the playoffs, took to the road, and defeated everyone placed in front of them. “They (Kings) proved that they were the team to beat,” said league commissioner Bernard Hunt. “The way their season started had many counting them out however, most of it was due to logistics and not being out played on the field,” said Hunt.

In 2022, Kings will come right out the tunnel with a target on their back. Winning an APDFL National Championship is an impressive accolade. To be able to repeat and be crowned as Back-to-Back National Champions, well that will be an uphill battle. One that the Kings have proved this off-season they are prepared to defend.

Completing the top 5 as we go into Commissioners Classic Weekend are as follows: No. 1 - Crescent City Kings, No. 2 – Georgia Cobras, No. 3 – Columbus Storm, No. 4 – Georgia Thrashers, and No. 5 – Mississippi Dynasty.
