Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League

Atlanta, GA – Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) has named Alabama Regional Director, Eddie Batie, as Director of Operations.

Batie started his developmental career in Europe in 2002 with the Ipswich Cardinals. Since that time, he has had the ability to be a member with various teams across the southeast and the state of Alabama. In 2014, Batie developed his first team, Troy Spartans, as a member of the APDFL. He later developed the Tri-City Generals who went on to become divisional champions in 2015.

Batie has been Regional Director for the state of Alabama since 2014. He has been a member of the APDFL and the Board of Directors for seven seasons. “We are extremely happy that he (Batie) was eager to accept the position as we know that he is capable of handling the challenge”, said APDFL Commissioner Bernard Hunt.
