Jacksonville, FL – Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League (APDFL) announces ‘Feed The Hungry’ week across the APDFL. APDFL will be making a donation to Guiding Light Consulting Services during this promotional weekend as for their ‘March Madness Memory Makers’ event. Guiding Light Consulting Services will be providing meals to those in need in the Las Vegas area on March 19, 2021. This weekend across the league organizations will be giving back to their communities as we all join forces to assist in feeding the less fortunate.

Let’s take a look at the games on the slate this weekend.

(23) Selma City Vikings (0-1) @ (7) Tuskegee Ayrmen (2-0)
Tuskegee, AL
6:00PM
After coming up short in the Commissioners Classic, the Vikings have had two weeks to re-group and re-focus. They will get the opportunity to prove that they utilized their break to their benefit as they make the short trip to face the Ayrmen. The Ayrmen come into this contest on the heels of a very close victory. Playing at home this weekend they should be able to control the game and walk away with the victory.
Tuskegee Ayrmen – 28
Selma City Vikings – 16

(21) Steel City Raptors (0-2) @ (20) Crescent City Kings (0-2)
New Orleans, LA
7:00PM
Both teams come into this weekends contest seeking their first victory on the season. Raptors have found themselves in two tough battles coming up just short by a collective total of just 5 points. Kings haven’t had the usual start that they are use to. This weekend they will get to play their first home game of the 2021 season. This weekend should be another close match-up. To keep from falling deeper into a hole, the Raptors will need to find a way to pull out the close ones. Unfortunately this weekend won’t fall in their favor.
Crescent City Kings – 17
Steel City Raptors – 12

(15) East Alabama Predators (1-1) @ (6) Georgia Thrashers (1-1)
Alpharetta, GA
7:00PM
An early season match-up with major implications. Both teams came up short in their first outing but bounced back in their second. Thrashers were impressive in their one sided victory a week ago and playing at home this weekend are seeking to do more of the same. However, the Predators will be at full force this weekend and will be ready for the test. Offensively, the Thrashers air-raid offense has been explosive. They will need to prove that their defense can be just as substantial this weekend as they face their mirror image. Playing at home should provide them with an added advantage.
Georgia Thrashers – 32
East Alabama Predators – 26

(26) Alabama Wolfpack (0-2) @ (11) Panhandle Crusaders (1-1)
Pensacola, FL
7:00PM
Wolfpack are looking for their first victory on the season. The trip to Pensacola won’t make this task an easy one. Crusaders came up short in their last outing and will be looking to get back on track. When hitting on all cylinders, the Crusaders have the ability to defeat any team that lines up in front of them. The Wolfpack are still trying to figure out who they are. This weekend will prove to be a tough test.
Panhandle Crusaders – 36
Alabama Wolfpack – 12

(3) Mississippi Dynasty (1-1) @ (14) Columbus Storm (2-0)
Phenix City, AL
5:00PM
Storm are coming off of their second straight victory in a close match-up. Having won their first two contests by a combined score of only 4 points, they have proven that they have the ability to win the close ones. The question is, can they pull away from their opponent and make separation. Dynasty will come into this contest, as they often do, with thoughts of only victory on their mind. For the Storm to be victorious they will need to keep the game close until the end. A game of domination won’t be in their favor.
Mississippi Dynasty – 28
Columbus Storm – 14

(10) Georgia Noles (2-0) @ (19) Orlando Phantoms (0-2)
Altamonte Springs, FL
7:00PM
Two games in and Phantoms are still looking for their identity. They will need to put their most recent debilitating loss behind them and they will need to do so fast. This weekend things won’t get any easier. The Noles have simply been impressive over their first two games. They have continued to show the league that they are to be taken seriously. However, taking to the road this weekend may possibly be their biggest challenge. If the Noles are to travel with a complete squad they have the ability to win their third straight game of the season. However, if they show up unmanned and under prepared, the Phantoms will walk away with their first victory of the season.
Georgia Noles – 18
Orlando Phantoms – 16

(12) Louisiana Lightning (1-1) @ (22) Crescent City Rampage (0-1)
New Orleans, LA
7:00PM
Lightning have continued to get better in each of their first two games. This weekend should be no different. With a week 1 bye, the Rampage have only seen action in one game thus far. What they are made of this season is still up for debate.
Louisiana Lightning – 22
Crescent City Rampage – 6

(8) Bayou Lacombe Cardinals (2-0) @ (18) Hub City Hellcats (1-1)
Petal, MS
6:00PM
Cardinals are on the climb. Pulling off the upset a week ago has given them a great deal of motivation as they press forward. Hellcats will be looking to complete an upset of their own. Playing at home, a win is highly possible. The challenge is, this doesn’t necessarily mean probable. The Cardinals should be able to take to the road this weekend and walk away with the victory.
Bayou Lacombe Cardinals – 17
Hub City Hellcats – 12

(25) Tri-City Savages (0-2) @ (5) Pike County Titans (2-0)
McComb, MS
5:00PM
Titans kicked off the season looking just as good as advertised while the Savages have struggled thus far. For the Savages to pull out a victory this weekend they will need to be at full power and will need to play a flawless game. Any thing short of flawless and things could get ugly quick.
Pike County Titans – 34
Tri-City Savages – 6

(27) Georgia Crushers (0-2) @ (24) Greater Pensacola Jets (0-2)
Pensacola, FL
3:00PM
Both teams have struggled to start the season and both are in need of their first victory of the season. Crushers have had a good start to both games but just haven’t been able to keep up the level of play as the game progresses. An early kickoff time in Pensacola won’t make this any easier. The Jets have to find a way to protect their home turf. A loss this weekend would put them with their backs against the wall with some tough games coming up.
Greater Pensacola Jets – 12
Georgia Crushers – 6

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!
(13) Garden City Seahawks (1-0) @ (9) Metro Atlanta Horsemen (2-1)
Atlanta, GA
6:30PM
A special night of football will take place this weekend as the Seahawks take to the road to face the Horsemen. Both teams have done what they needed to do thus far this season with the Horsemen coming off of an impressive early season victory. The two have faced each other previously and will come into this contest knowing what to expect from the other. Playing at home, the Horsemen should find a slight advantage.
Metro Atlanta Horsemen – 17
Garden City Seahawks – 14

GAME OF THE WEEK!!
(1) Unconquered Cobras (2-0) @ (2) Gulf Coast Gators (2-0)
Pensacola, FL
5:00PM
The top two teams in the league will face off this weekend for what some have said could be a preview of the Presidents Cup. Both teams enter the contest unscathed with impressive victorious under their belt. Playing on the road, the Cobras will need to be at full steam and will need to play a complete game to be victorious. They have all of the tools to be successful. The same can be said for the Gators. Playing at home is sure to give the Gators a slight advantage however, this yearly cross conference contest can always go either way.
Gulf Coast Gators – 16
Unconquered Cobras – 12

There you have it! The predictions are in and the only thing left to do is to play the games. Like I always say, don’t hate the predictions, SIMPLY PROVE THEM WRONG!
