Pearl, MS – Mississippi Dynasty will enter their 6th year in 2020 and will do so as the No. 1 team in the land. Just as they have for their third consecutive season. Although 2019 brought about several challenges, their greatest test came about in the National Presidents Cup when a defensive stance sealed the victory and their 3rd straight National Presidents Cup title.

Over the course of their short 5 year tenure, the Dynasty have celebrated championships from start to finish. Having won championships 4 out of 5 seasons to date (MEFL & APDFL x3), the question appears who will be the team to dethrone the powerhouse.

Match-ups with the Gulf Coast Gators proved to be exciting in 2019 and both outings could have gone either way. A controversial finish in their first match-up led to Gulf Coast thriving for a rematch however, they were unable to capitalize when the opportunity was presented.

“The 2020 season will bring new challenges as every season does and it will be up to the players, coaching staff and myself to push through,” stated team Owner and Head Coach Mike Lloyd.

3-Time league MVP, Lesteven Jackson, will get his opportunity to shine on the defensive side of the ball in 2020 and will add to a secondary already rich in talent. The return of Running Back Jabari Baker to the backfield adds yet another dimension to one of the nations most prolific offensive attacks.

The Dynasty will kick-off the 2020 season at home against the Steel City Raptors prior to taking to the road to face the Alabama Blackhawks in what most have predicted to be a preview of the 2020 Presidents Cup. As the No. 1 team in the land, the target is on their backs and with an increasingly high level of competition this season, it will take everything they have to hold onto the title of Nations Best.
