Jacksonville, FL - The Southern Conference kicks-off round 2 of the playoffs this weekend and the nations No. 1 team will once again be in action. With everyone gunning to knock them off, will the 3rd time be the charm for the Dolphins. There are some great games on the slate this weekend so don't miss the postseason.
No. 4 South Alabama Dolphins @ No. 1 Mississippi Dynasty,
6:30 PM cst.
For the 3rd time this season these two will face-off on the playing field. Dolphins have improved in each of the two previous match-ups and will need to do the same if they are expecting to walk away with the upset victory. The truth is they do have what it takes to be victorious as their defense has the ability to stop anyone in front of them. However, the offense will need to play their best game of the season. Dynasty haven’t been as impressive in ‘19 as some would like you to believe. However, they are in the midst of their only undefeated season to date. Week in and week out they have continued to play at the level of their competition. With that being said, the Dynasty have yet to play with all hands on deck. That should change with the postseason upon us. The Dolphins defense will surely keep them in the game however, the Dynasty offense, with home field advantage, will be just a bit too much for them to overcome.
Mississippi Dynasty – 28
South Alabama Dolphins - 12
No. 3 Crescent City Kings @ No. 2 Gulf Coast Gators
5:00 PM cst.
These two teams faced-off just a few weeks ago with the Gators dominating the game from start to finish. If the Kings are to be victorious and complete the upset they will need to ensure that they are playing at full capacity or it’s sure to be more of the same. The Gators have been dominant over the course of the season. They will be looking to do more of the same this weekend as the Kings come back to town this time looking for redemption. To complete the upset however, the Kings will need to find a way to bottle up Gators dual threat QB, Tyrone Jones. In their first outing, Jones threw for 2 TD’s and ran for another. At full capacity however, the Kings are no slouch. They obtain all the parts necessary to be victorious and to walk away with the upset victory. This season however they simply haven’t shown their ability to play on the road. Home field advantage should give the Gators the victory.
Gulf Coast Gators – 32
Crescent City Kings – 16
It’s round 2 of the playoffs and the South is looking at some exciting games. The winners will face-off for the Southern Conference Championship next week but this week it’s simple. Who wants it the most?
