American Conference Players on the Horizon

Atlanta, GA - The American Conference will come into the 2018 season seeking their first National Presidents Cup ever. This season they look to be in a prime position to make that become reality. With several established newcomers to the league, several teams in the conference will fight for supremacy. With every season several players come in as stand out athletes looking to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. The 2018 American Conference group is led by the National Defensive Player of the Year, Defensive Back Yancey Powell of the Prattville Patriots. Along with several other players that made a mark in the 2017 season, Powell will look to prove that his "Players on the Horizon" nomination is much more than just a title.

Tuskegee Ayrmen Quarterback, Carl Davis Jr. is a returner to the list of Players on the Horizon however, in 2018 he will be making his mark as a member of a different team. As a member of the American Conference, will he be able to maintain his high level of play or will it prove to be devastating.

Several newcomers to the league will also get the opportunity to prove that the hype surrounding them is much more than just a statues. High School stand out Quarterback Tristan Short of the Prattville Patriots will have the opportunity early to prove that his high school numbers can translate to big boy football. Nephew of NFL Hall Of Fame Quarterback Bret Favre, Dylan Favre, will take on the responsibility of signal caller for the Augusta Ducks as he battles to make his way towards an NFL camp himself. However, it's all a vision for each member until the numbers make their way to the stage. Here is a complete list of the American Conference Players on the Horizon for 2018.
